Tonelería Murua collaborates with an underwater barrel ageing project
In recent years, Tonelería Murua has been collaborating in the research and development of wooden barrels for the LSEB PLENTZIA, the Underwater Laboratory for the Ageing of Beverages.
These studies, developed in conjunction with Bodega Crusoe TReasure, are on the way to opening up previously unthinkable barriers in ecological evolution, but which, given the situation posed by climate change, may become potential solutions to problems as serious as the global warming that the wine sector is facing.
